TOTOWN ESTABLISHES MAL'S BAR

Totown President & Executive Producer Malcolm W. Adams has announced the purchase of a residential/commercial property in Kakegawa City which will be the home of the newly established Mal's Bar & International Communication Space. Reform and expansion construction will begin immediately with a target opening date of early June, 1999. The Grand opening is scheduled to coincide with the 50th birthday celebration of our founder, Mal Adams. In the meantime, you are invited to check out the Mal's Bar homepage by clicking on the direct link in the navigation bar at the top of this page. See you at Mal's Bar & International Communication Space where the tap never runs dry.

This is the future home of Mal's Bar and the totown Corporate offices which is now undergoing reconstruction and expansion.


TOTOWN ANNOUNCES JAMS SPRING RECRUITING CAMPAIGN

Totown Communications Co., Ltd. has announced the launching of the spring 1999 artist recruiting campaign in search of new members for the Japan African-American Music Society (JAMS). JAMS was established in 1988 by Totown President & Executive Producer, Malcolm W. Adams for the purpose of providing a collective bargaining union for African-American residents and non-residents of Japan who are professionally involved in the Japan music industry. The union was an outgrowth of Totown's artist management and representation services and was founded for the purposes of providing contractual and legal services for artists and producers as well as supplying a network for the exchange of business opportunities in the Japan music scene. JAMS is administered by Totown Communications Co., Ltd, the parent company of Totown Records. The Spring recruiting period for new members will culminate with a mid-summer concert and JAMS session featuring performances from JAMS members and other special guest artists from the around the world who have performed in Japan.
